Long-distance Funeral Attendance
Below is Aaron Mast's Facebook post giving information for those who would like to participate vicariously in Anja Miller's funeral. It will be a closed-casket visitation and funeral.
I hear that there will be lots of singing, both by the congregation, and by a sizable mixed group.
We're having lovely cool weather--highs in the low 80s--a real blessing after some days this past week over 100 degrees.
Metropolitan Coffee Shop is providing the coffee for the funeral. I don't know that whole back story, except that Anja loved to go there. That's trivia, of course, but a nice gesture by MCS nonetheless.
I plan to try to do a live stream of Anja's funeral at 10am CST this Saturday, and hopefully at least part of the Friday evening viewing. Please share this link with whoever you think will want to see the funeral but can't come for it.
